2. What we collect

• Account information: email address and display name when you sign up.
• Team and roster data: player names, contact info, ratings, and availability that captains enter for team management.
• Match and schedule data: match dates, venues, lineups, and scores.
• Usage data: basic app usage logs for debugging and service improvement.

We do not collect location data, payment card details, or any sensitive personal information beyond what is listed above.

3. How we use your data

• To provide and operate the RacquetRoster service (team management, scheduling, lineups).
• To authenticate your account and keep it secure.
• To send team-related notifications (lineup announcements, availability polls) — only when triggered by your captain.
• To improve the app based on usage patterns.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share data only with:

• Other team members: captains see full roster info; players see match schedules and lineups for their team.
• Service providers: cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure) used to store and serve data — bound by confidentiality agreements.
• Legal requirements: if required by law or to protect the safety of users.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing mark@alpenglow.ai. Team roster data entered by a captain is controlled by that captain and may be deleted from the team settings page.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), bcrypt password hashing, and secure session tokens. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

RacquetRoster is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app or by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
